Mayhem Deranged | London, UK Bamnd

singer Ray Mayhew is perhaps best known in music history as being the mad drummer for pop-cyberpunk band Sigue Sigue Sputnik from 1983 to 1990. When Sputnik disbanded in 1990 he quickly formed Mayhem Deranged – a vehicle for Ray to show his abilities both as a singer & a songwriter. Early versions of “50 Megaton Love” and “Kept Woman” featuring John Liesk on guitar were recorded during 1990.

Later that year guitarist Kevin Prockter comes on board and a large body of material is amassed until mid 1993. Regrettably, the master recording sessions never took place and the demos were shelved until recently. Another albums worth of material was written in 1996 with a new line up and an all new sound. Again, masters were not achieved and all the material shelved.
Ray sporadically performed in a variety of different incarnations of Mayhem Deranged over the years since, most of it under the radar… Until Now.
It wasn’t until March 2008, when guitarist Kevin Prockter returned to the group and bassist Robert Godfrey was added to record the track “Here I Go Again” (above). Mayhem Deranged then played their first official public gig in September 2008.
Mayhem Deranged’s sound is what we love: old school rock, mixed with some old school punk. Proper vocals, with meaningful yet catchy lyrics, sang over the top of some crunky electric guitar riffs, not forgetting the drumming – of course. Rene M. founded in 2000 the solo project Dual. Many songs originated In this creative years which were composed and produced by himself. In 2004 Alex H. joined Addicted Dreams and initially assumed the management and additionally later on the writing of the lyrics and the keys. Addicted Dreams matured from a friendship between men to a unique Synthpop band. Because of legal causes Dual had to be renamed in 2006 as Addicted Dreams. From some awaited for a long time or rather longed for we have now the pleasure to deliver you the following message. It is accomplished and on Aug 25, 2007, our new album „Don't say it's simple“ is released. She might only be 18, but Jennel Garcia knows exactly who she is as an artist. "The artist I am is like a newer present day Pat Benatar. I think a woman finally putting rock music back out there is an awesome idea. I love when women take on what guys normally do and then just do it better," she says.

Jennel found her voice in the second grade when she performed "Fallen" by Alicia Keys at the school's talent show. "That was the start to my passion for singing," she says. Throughout much of her childhood, she performed in vocal troupes and dance teams, which would perform at community events and dinner shows all over Massachusetts. At age 10, she appeared on America's Most Talented Kids. At age 14, she started competing in dance again and joined her school choir team in high school.

"I'm Puerto Rican, so to hear someone Spanish sing rock n roll is already weird. And I think weird is good. I think I have the X factor because what I bring to the table is different than anyone else. I'm not quite the most talkative person offstage, but once I get on stage I turn into a firecracker," she says.

She was on the Young Adults category, mentored by Demi Lovato. She was chosen by Lovato to continue on to the Top 16, therefore continued to the live shows. On the show, fellow young adult Paige Thomas appeared to be Frey's biggest competition, though Frey insisted that they were friends. James Arthur (singer)musician who won the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012.

Arthur was born in Middlesbrough, England [3] to English mother Shirley Ashworth and Scottish father Neil Arthur.[4] James' father was a delivery driver, but also used to be a DJ and a drummer for many years.[5] Arthur's parents split up when he was just two years old and each settled with a new partner. Neil and Shirley were not on speaking terms with one another for more than twenty years. But they agreed to attend his audition together in a family reunion.[6]

Arthur first went to Ings Farm Primary School in Redcar, North Yorkshire. When he was nine, he moved with his mother Shirley and his stepfather Ronald Rafferty to Bahrain where he studied at the local British School of Bahrain for four years. When they split, Arthur, then 14, had to move back with his mother and his two half-sisters Jasmine and Neve to the UK to live in a modest house in Saltburn-by-the-Sea.[7][8][9] Upon his return, he continued his studies at Redcar's Rye Hills School.[10]

Arthur has five siblings, an older brother called Neil Arthur, an older sister called Sian Arthur, and three younger sisters, Charlotte Arthur and Jasmin and Neve Rafferty.[10]
